SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (BACK-END)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, maintain, optimize, and test back-end services and their interfaces

  • Write clear, maintainable, and portable code

  • Document source code

  • Write technical and software design documents

  • Work as part of a team to meet the project’s schedule while breaking the process into manageable tasks

  • Work very closely with Front-End developers and domain experts

  • Demonstrate a desire to learn and grow professionally

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong object-oriented programming and debugging skills

  • Work experience or education focus in a technology-oriented field (monitoring, signal processing, multimedia etc.)

  • Deep knowledge of an enterprise-oriented development framework (Java, .NET, Delphi)

  • Basic knowledge of database design and SQL

  • Basic knowledge of Linux and Bash Script

  • Basic understanding of software management concepts: Version Control, Unit Tests

  • Excellent English communication and writing skills.

PREFERENCES:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, a similar degree or comparable experience

  • Experience with Agile development

  • Media/Broadcast background

  • Good understanding of network technologies and protocols (SNMP, SOAP, REST etc.)

  • German communication and writing skills
