SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (FRONT-END)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, maintain, optimize, and test UI systems

  • Develop and implement design drafts

  • Document source code

  • Write clear, maintainable, and portable code

  • Write technical and software design documents

  • Work as part of a team to meet the project’s schedule while breaking the process into manageable tasks

  • Work very closely with Back-End developers, customers, and domain experts

  • Demonstrate a desire to learn and grow professionally

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong object-oriented programming and debugging skills

  • Excellent web-programming skills (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript)

  • Deep knowledge of web frameworks and services (Single page applications, REST, WebSockets)

  • Knowledge of basic user interface design principles

  • Experience in the development and conversion of design drafts

  • Basic knowledge of Linux and Bash Script

  • Basic understanding of software management concepts: Version Control, Unit Tests

  • Excellent English communication and writing skills

PREFERENCES:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, a similar degree or comparable experience

  • Experience with Agile development

  • Media/Broadcast background

  • Basic knowledge of database design and SQL

  • Work experience or education focus in a technology-oriented field (monitoring, signal processing, multimedia etc.)

  • Good understanding of back-end technologies (Java, .net)

  • German communication and writing skills
